The first wedding!!

Well on Sunday, was the first of my brother’ weddings! The legal civil ceremony….the Sikh wedding will be at the end of August with a couple of other parties thrown in between!!!

The day was beautiful, the forecast rain did not arrive and was very hot in the end…at points, bit too hot!

The ceremony and the location of Pennyhill Park in Surrey were beautiful as was the bride!

It was so wonderful to see all the family together and spend time with them and friends.

The array of colours and styles of outfits were amazing. From quite simple maxi dresses to ornately decorated sarees and everything in between!!

Pre-wedding day!!

So the time has nearly arrived. All that waiting for over a year has nearly come to an end…my brother gets married tomorrow!!

So in Wednesday night, after I got my altered dress back, looked at my shoe options and realised that none went with the dress….PANIC!!
So I had my eye on a pair on eBay that I wanted for after the Sikh wedding in August.

Had to ask if they could guarantee I would get them by Friday!!
I ordered on Thursday and they arrived yesterday!! So glad.
They are gorgeous.

Well off to get hair cut this morning etc and then time to de-hairify this evening!!!!

Hopefully this has now been rectified!!

Details Make The Difference – Accessories for a Different Kind of Bride

Love this post, so have re-blogged, the Chanel clutch bag as mentioned on my first blog post is also featured here…great for brides, written by a very talented fellow blogger!!

For example, when choosing jewelry, we can put aside the superstitions and let the pearls go back to the scene to put a classic and very romantic spot to any bridal styling, either through earrings, necklaces and even worthy of a princess crowns. For those who prefer to cling to the traditions, diamonds and sapphires shine brightly on pieces with a vintage touch – and that’s another option.

Also the veil and jewellery have been reinvented – hats are adorned with flowers and even floral tiaras can be spotted…
